SYNOPSYS

Filmed for the first World Children’s Day event strongly backed by Pope Francis, for the first time ever St. Peter’s Basilica exceptionally opened its doors to a film crew, which underlines how important and unique this project is.

Mi-Rae, a lively and curious girl, is on holiday in Rome with her family. During their journey visiting the city’s monuments and most beautiful sights, the Park family enters the marvelous St. Peter’s Basilica, where the girl’s attention is caught by some priest’s words: “Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7, 7-14). These words deeply affect Mi-Rae and push her to make a small but meaningful gesture, full of hope.

This short film tells a simple, yet meaningful and universal story about fraternity, inclusion, and the power of small gestures. It’s a story for everyone, but mostly for children, the real roots of the world’s future.
